- I provide Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) (Reliabilities in progress) which is a clinically helpful tool for individuals (including therapists, social workers, and other professionals) seeking to understand their attachment patterns. The patterns can provide a deeper understanding of their early childhood experiences and how these patterns have shaped their lives. It is not what has happened to us in life that predicts how well we will do in life, but how we ‘make sense’ of our challenging experiences. The AAI is a one-hour standardized interview that is audio-recorded, transcribed, then coded to determine a person’s attachment pattern. Call Dawn for rate.
- Research: I provide formal AAI interviews and coding (reliabilities in progress) for individual or research purposes. Call Dawn for rate.
- I provide Infant-Parent Mental Health Case Consultation to individuals, therapists, or agencies. My background was Team Lead for the Infant Preschool Mental Health Program in Edmonton. I use a reflective and attachment focus lens to assist with the conceptualization of a complex case. In addition, I have completed the Zero to Three, Diagnostic Classification: 0 – 5 Training and use this framework for the 0 – 5 population. Contact Dawn for more details.
- I provide reflective Supervision/Consultation for therapists seeking support of their clinical work. I have supervised several Master of Social Work students, over the course of my career and as well, have held team lead and co-ordinator positions with non-profit mental health agencies. Please call me to discuss further and see if we are a good fit!
